Eileen Gavin

Eileen Gavin is a Licensed Massage Therapist and is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) as well as the International Association of Health Care Practitioners (IAHP). In Tucson, Arizona, she completed the 700 hour Professional Massage Therapy Program with the Providence Institute. Prior to this she completed her Bachelors degree in Sociology at UCLA. She attended the Upledger Institute for her education in Craniosacral Therapy and continues to further her studies there. She studied Acupressure, with Master Augustine Fong and a variety of forms of Asian bodywork and martial arts with 38th generation Qi Gong Master, Tim Darmetko. As a massage and Craniosacral Therapist, Eileen has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, the Providence Institute community clinic and bodywork center, Smile Spa, dental office/spa, Tanque Verde guest ranch, a Transformative Touch, and for members of the American Parkinson’s Association. Eileen offers Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Acupressure, Reiki, Myofacial release, Trigger Point Therapy, as well as Prenatal and Sports Massage. She does mobile massage in a wide variety of settings including corportate massage, bed and breakfast spa services, sports events, private residence, home spa parties and others. Her inherent desire is to contribute to the wellness of others and to assist their healing process in a holistic and natural way.

Tim Darmetko

Serving Tucson since 1997, Tim Darmetko is a Massage and Craniosacral Therapist as well as an instructor in Martial Arts, Yoga, Asian Bodywork, Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy. He is also  a professional member of the International Association of Healthcare Practitioners (IAHP). Tim is a Master in 38th Generation Korean Qi Gong Massage and Internal Martial Arts, trained by Dr. Myung Chill Kim in Boston, Massachusetts – one of the first men to bring very secretive teachings of martial arts and acupuncture to the United States during the Vietnam War. His training in Craniosacral therapy as well as Somato Emotional Release was completed at the Upledger Institute where he has also continually participated as a teaching assistant. He worked as a Pedorthist  prior to taking a position at the Providence Institute, where he worked as a therapist in the bodywork center, a yoga instructor and a Shiatsu instructor for the massage therapy program since it’s inception in the year 2000. He has worked in various other settings including his private practice, the Chi Massage Center and the Smile Spa as director of the massage therapy department. Tim  offers treatment s in Craniosacral Therapy, Qi Gong Massage, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Reflexology, Tuina, Che Ne Tsang, Acupressure, Unwinding the Belly work, Visceral Manipulation, deep tissue and pre/post-natal massage. He also offers  classes and private instruction in Internal Martial Arts, Craniosacral Therapy, Asian Bodywork and Reiki. Tim’s skillful touch, his wide range of experience and his natural ability to train others,  allows for his effectiveness as a therapist and teacher.
